The Village of Gurnee Board of Trustees held its first regular November meeting on Monday night.

The agenda included a presentation on the Gurnee Legion of Craft Beer Fest and a presentation of the police department's Four Pillar Awards by Police Chief Kevin Woodside.

The trustees were expected to vote on authorizing two local holidays. The month of November was under consideration for National American Indian/Alaska Native Heritage Month, and Nov. 15 was under consideration for American Enterprise Day.

The trustees were expected to review a sewage disposal agreement with North Shore Water Reclamation and to approve the amended Lake County Watershed Development Ordinance.

The trustees will meet again on Nov. 16, and the Committee of the Whole will meet on Nov. 23.

All meetings are held at Gurnee Village Hall, located at 325 North O'Plaine Road in Gurnee.
