Chairman Michael Ley will introduce the City of Lake Forest’s commissioners and staff tomorrow as well.

After approving previous meeting minutes, the commission will hold a public hearing on a request for approval on a proposed subdivision plat for the development known as Estate Lane Planned Preservation Subdivision, including a related special use permit. The parcel consists of a three-lot single-family cluster at the southwest corner of Estate Lane East and Oak Knoll Drive.

The property owner is Marlin Ventures LLC, with individual owners listed as Paul Lopata of Deerfield, Steven Brown of Highland Park and Ed Yawitz of Long Beach, California.

Craig Krandel of Timm and Garfinkel LLC in Crystal Lake, along with Bleck Engineering of Lake Forest, are property representatives.

Documentation submitted for tomorrow’s meeting includes aerial photos, a vicinity map, staff report and recommendation, and an illustrated diagram of existing storm sewers. Previous material included a tree survey, plans and the application with supporting materials.

The petitioners have submitted new material since the previous meeting on Feb. 10, comprised of the plat, proposed lot illustrations and drainage diagrams.

Time will be allotted for public testimony on any items not included on the meeting agenda, followed by additional input from staff prior to adjournment.
