Lake County considers pact with Waukegan to support anti-crime program

The Lake County Financial and Administrative Committee discussed a joint resolution to approve an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Waukegan in support of the Coalition to Prevent Recidivism.

The committee also considered a joint resolution to accept an Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services grant, along with the renewal of an intergovernmental agreement for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit’s Access and Visitation Program, with an emergency appropriation of $45,000 for fiscal 2017.

The committee also considered a joint resolution to accept an Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity grant, with an emergency appropriation of $253,739 for fiscal 2016.
