Kristina Aubert of Crystal Lake was the overall winner of the 10K race in the 2016 Buffalo Grove Stampede on Sunday.
Aubert won in a time of 36 minutes, according to results.active.com. Mark Dolgin of Chicago was second, at 37:20; Tim Kowols of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was third, at 37:26; Jason Rush of Libertyville was fourth, at 37:30; and Matt Gill of Downers Grove was fifth, at 37:51.
The 10K race drew 219 participants.
In other Stampede results, Tonatiuh Chavez of Illinois (no city given) won the 5K in 17:36. Kimberly Grovak of Cary was second, at 18:36, and Lauren Versweyveld of Fort Worth, Texas, was third, at 18:48. That race drew 373 runners.
Also, Danielle Hausfield of Buffalo Grove won the 5K walk in a time of 35:18 out of a field of 84 participants. Ashley Griffin of Buffalo Grove was second, at 36 minutes, and Ben Present of Buffalo Grove was third, at 38:35.
