Registration for the Vernon Hills Park District's adult basketball league begins Nov. 2, according to vhparkdistrict.org.
Teams that have 60 percent residents will have registration from Nov. 2-8. Returning teams can register from Nov. 9-15. Open registration begins Nov. 16.
Registration deadline is Dec. 6.
League play, which is for players 18 and older, will start in January and take place at area schools. Four divisions with varying skill levels will have eight teams each, with all teams playing 10-game regular seasons. The top four teams from each division will be in the playoffs, which start in late March.
Games will be played Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.
Cost is $720 per team.
