Highland Park will host the Fourth Annual Business Summit 2:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Highland Park Country Club, 1201 Park Avenue West.

This year’s gathering features keynote speaker Howard Tullman, a local businessman who leads a nonprofit and an investment firm, both geared toward helping early-stage businesses. Additionally, the event will present civic leaders’ reports and finish with a reception and refreshments.

Attendees must register by calling 847-926-1046 or emailing mrosen@cityhpil.com by Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Tullman will present “If You’re Not in a Hurry, You’re Probably Too Late,” followed by questions and answers with attendees. Participants can pick up information about the latest trends in technology that are strongly impacting the way businesses relate to clients.

“It is our goal to create an environment where businesses can thrive, create jobs and boost the economy,” Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering said. “Each year, we are delighted to welcome business professionals and area officials to the Annual Business Summit to share proven strategies, discover new approaches and collaborate to increase business opportunity in Highland Park.”

The annual event encourages networking among business and civic leaders in the Highland Park area. This year’s summit is sponsored jointly by 11 local entities: Ravinia Festival, First Bank of Highland Park, North Shore Gas, Fifth Third Bank, NorthShore University Heath System, Lakeshore Recycling Systems, Synergy Marketing Solutions, Dunkin Donuts, Renaissance Place, Amber Insurance Services and Lake County Partners.
