PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE  

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE  

Monday, February 27, 2017 – 6:00 p.m.

The Village of Barrington Corporate Authorities sitting as a Committee of the Whole will meet at the Barrington Village Hall, Community Conference Room, 200 S. Hough Street, Barrington, IL 60010 on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. for the purposes as set forth in the following Agenda:

It is at this time during each meeting that the public is given the opportunity to address the Board on matters of concern and/or comment on items included on the agenda.

b. Resolution Re:   Authorizing the Issuance of a Purchase Order to Currie Motors for the Purchase of Three (3) New 2017 Ford Vehicles and the Execution of a Contract with Monroe Truck Equipment to Provide and Install Certain Equipment for One of the New Trucks

CONSIDERATION RE:  Motion to adjourn to Closed Session to discuss matters of Personnel [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)], Insurance and/or Self‐Insurance Claims [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(12)], Land Acquisition [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(5)], Collective Negotiating Matters [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2)], Security [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(8)], and Litigation Which is Pending or Which is Probable or Imminent [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11)], the Board finding that based upon advice of counsel, litigation is probable or imminent as to those matters so identified on the record in such Closed Session for the reasons therein stated.
