Unpaid fine for Lake Barrington-based campaign committee totaled $5,000 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Lake Barrington has an overdue fine of $5,000, records obtained by the Lake County Gazette show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Friends of Tom Gooch was the only campaign committee in Lake Barrington that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The fine that Friends of Tom Gooch has yet to pay was imposed on May 21, 2014, for failure to comply.
