The price of local government: Village of Round Lake Beach

The village of Round Lake Beach budget was $22.43 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $2,691.70 per household.

That's a decrease of 9.9 percent from 2014 when the village spent $24.89 million, or $2,987.12 per household.

Round Lake Beach has 8,333 households and a population of 28,093.

Since 2001, the village of Round Lake Beach budget has fallen by 13.1 percent, from $25.82 million. The village population has grown 8.6 percent over the same period, from 25,859.
