Sears will close two stores this fall in Vernon Hills, according to a recent company announcement.

The company released a public list of unprofitable stories, including 15 Kmarts and 48 Sears in early September.

“We continue to evaluate our network of stores, which are a critical component in our transformation, and will make further adjustments as needed and as warranted,” the company said.
