The City of Lake Forest Historic Preservation Commission met July 22.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

1. Introduction of Commissioners and staff and overview of meeting procedures – Chairman Grieve

2. Consideration of the minutes of the June 24, 2020 meeting of the Commission.

3. Preliminary consideration of a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness approving the demolition of the existing single family residence and the design and siting of a replacement residence on the property located at 1020 Meadow Lane. Tree removal, landscape and exterior lighting plans will also be considered. Initial input and direction is requested prior to further design development. 4. Consideration of a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness approving the addition of an attached two car garage, mudroom and dormer to the single family home on the property located at 410 Washington Road. Various exterior alterations are also proposed.
