BACOG – the Barrington Area Council of Governments – will be hosting a water testing event on October 1, 2024. The event aims to provide residents of member communities with an opportunity to have their well water tested for contaminants at a reduced fee.
According to a statement released, a significant number of homes within the 52nd District rely on private wells for their household water. As such, it is imperative for homeowners to conduct annual testing to ensure the safety and quality of their drinking water.
In line with this, BACOG organizes a yearly testing event, offering residents a cost-effective way to assess the quality of their well water. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st, and residents are encouraged to visit BACOG.org for more details on how to participate.
