On Friday, March 6, Alec Schmidts, a former Barrington High School standout, helped lead his current team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, to a 62-51 victory over the Heidelberg Student Princes in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest was played at Shirk Center at 6:40 p.m. and marked Illinois Wesleyan’s first tournament game against the Heidelberg Student Princes.
The Illinois Wesleyan Titans will next compete on Saturday, March 7 at 6:40 p.m. at Shirk Center.
