Annika Gustafson, a former standout at Warren Township High School, contributed to her current team, the UW La Crosse Eagles, as they defeated the Southern Maine Huskies 66-45 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
John A. Paulson Center was the venue for the 5 p.m. contest, marking the teams’ first meeting in tournament play.
The Eagles are set to play again at John A. Paulson Center on Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.
