Batavia Police investigate multi-vehicle crash at N Randall Rd and McKee St intersection

The Batavia Police Department announced on March 25 that it is investigating a traffic crash involving three vehicles at the intersection of N Randall Rd and McKee St. The incident occurred at approximately 4:19 PM and involved a Tesla sedan, a Dodge pickup truck, and a Nissan SUV.

According to the department, preliminary investigation revealed that the Tesla was heading southbound on N Randall Rd and was attempting to turn left onto eastbound McKee St when it collided with the northbound Dodge. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Nissan SUV was also involved in the crash but was not towed.

Two female occupants of the Tesla were transported to an area hospital; one passenger sustained life-threatening injuries while the driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The male driver of the Dodge was also taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One occupant of the Nissan was transported for non-life-threatening injuries as well.

No additional information related to the crash investigation is being released at this time as police say the investigation is ongoing.
