The Board of Education for Beach Park School District No. 3 in Lake County, Illinois, has announced that the tentative budget for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2025, will be available for public inspection. Community members can review the proposed budget at 11315 W. Wadsworth Road in Beach Park beginning after 9:00 a.m. on August 11, 2025.
A public hearing regarding the budget is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. on September 15, 2025, at Beach Park Middle School located at 40667 N Green Bay Rd, Beach Park.
Beach Park Community Consolidated School District 3 serves several schools in Lake County including Beach Park Middle School, Howe Elementary School, Kenneth Murphy School, Newport Elementary School, and Oak Crest School (source). The district employs a total of 149 teachers with an average salary of $63,553 before pension contributions; women make up about four-fifths of the teaching staff and there are no teachers with more than ten absences in a school year (source).
Demographically, the student body consists of approximately 54 percent Hispanic students, about 22 percent Black students, nearly 16 percent White students, and just over two percent Asian students (source). In terms of spending, the district allocated $22,192 per student in the year 2020 for a total expenditure of $46.4 million (source).

11th day of August ,2025,” stated officials from the Board.
