At this week’s Board of Education meeting, members took time to honor both beginnings and farewells. The Board warmly welcomed its newest member, Jacqueline San Diego, and expressed deep gratitude to outgoing members Wesley Walker and Latoya Barnes, who concluded their dedicated service. Each was presented with a plaque in appreciation of their leadership, commitment, and the countless lives they’ve touched.

“Thank you for being a true champion for kids,” said an attendee.

In a moment of unity and continued dedication, select returning board members stood to reaffirm their oath of service before beginning the evening’s meeting.

“We are grateful for the unwavering commitment of our board members who lead with heart and purpose,” remarked another participant.
