Chief Linas was recognized as First Responder of the Month on WGN’s Spotlight Chicago, according to a March 11 announcement. During the televised segment, Chief Linas shared her personal story, discussed what the recognition means to her, and spoke about her ongoing mission to promote health and wellness among police officers.

The program is sponsored by the Mancini Law Group. As part of this recognition, a $1,000 donation will be made in Chief Linas’s name to the 100 Club of Illinois.
