Collinsville High School Black Student Union (BSU) invites the community to celebrate Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19, in Uptown Collinsville. The event will feature a parade, live music, food, crafts, vendors, and more.

Collinsville CUSD 10 has announced that schools will be closed on Thursday in honor of Juneteenth.

The celebration is part of a broader recognition of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.
