The Village of Deer Park announced on Mar. 26 that it will sponsor a Spring Cleanup event for homeowners associations on Saturday, April 25, from 9 to 11 a.m. The event is designed to encourage community members to help clean up entrance ways and right of ways after the winter season.

This initiative aims to beautify Deer Park by involving residents in local improvement efforts. According to the official website, Deer Park Village supports community events and resident involvement to enhance local life according to the official website.

During the cleanup, Groot will collect debris gathered by HOAs and coordinated subdivision groups at designated areas within subdivisions around noon. The village will provide garbage bags and gloves for those who register by Friday, April 19. Registered participants can pick up these supplies at the Village office between April 21 and April 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Only landscape waste, litter, and debris from entrance ways and right of ways should be placed in the provided bags for pickup by Groot. After registration, participants will receive information about their specific subdivision’s pickup location.
