The Village Board of Deerfield is set to review a proposed ordinance concerning the regulation of motor-driven vehicles. This includes scooters and bicycles powered by electric or gas motors, excluding those with pedals. The proposal arises from resident complaints and accident reports involving these vehicles on public streets, sidewalks, and other public areas in Deerfield.

The ordinance is scheduled for final consideration at the Village Board meeting on May 19. These meetings occur on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall.
