District 113 is set to introduce a new cell phone procedure for the upcoming school year. Parents and guardians are invited to join a community conversation about these changes. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 6th, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm via Google Meet.

The meeting aims to provide information about the new procedure, allow attendees to ask questions, and gather input to ensure a smooth transition for students and families. Live translation captions in several languages will be available during the event, thanks to Google Meet’s built-in live captioning feature. A recording of the meeting will be accessible afterward through Google Drive.

Mirah Anti, Executive Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, expressed appreciation for the community’s partnership and looks forward to engaging in this important discussion.

“Estimadas padres y tutores del Distrito 113: EstĂ¡n invitados a una conversaciĂ³n abierta sobre la nueva regla de celulares que aplicarĂ¡ en todo el distrito escolar desde este ciclo,” said Anti in Spanish. She emphasized the importance of working together for an easy transition for all students and families.
