Elmwood Elementary collects over one thousand socks for local donation drive

Elmwood Elementary School recently completed its annual Socktober drive, collecting 1,424 pairs of socks for people in need. The donations will benefit individuals experiencing homelessness and children in foster care.

The contributions were organized by house groups within the school: Isibindi collected 67 pairs, Amistad gathered 126 pairs, Altruismo contributed 393 pairs, and Revuer led with 838 pairs.

Elmwood Elementary is part of Zion Elementary School District 6, which also includes Beulah Park Elementary School, East Elementary School, Lakeview School, Shiloh Park Elementary School, West Elementary School, and Zion Central Middle School.
