On Saturday, March 7, at 6 p.m., Logan Eisenbarth, who previously played for Barrington High School, took the field with his college team, the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, as they secured a 13-5 win over the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats in an NCAA Division I baseball game.
The matchup occurred at Jackie Robinson Ballpark, marking their second meeting with the Wildcats this season. In their prior contest Friday, March 6, the Eagles won 11-5.
Eisenbarth pitched two innings, giving up one earned run along with one walk and earning two strikeouts.
The Eagles will face Bethune–Cookman Wildcats again on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
