Gavin Escobedo, a former Rolling Meadows High School standout, and his collegiate squad, the Aurora Spartans, were defeated 84-60 by the CMS Stags on Friday, March 6, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The teams faced off for the first time in tournament play at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse, with the game tipping off at 2:20 p.m.
