On Friday, May 16, former Glenbrook South High School standout John Henry Russell’s current collegiate team the Lewis Flyers won 7-3 against the Missouri S&T Miners in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at GVSU Baseball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Missouri S&T Miners in the tournament.

The Lewis Flyers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at GVSU Baseball Field.
