Former Libertyville High School standout Hayden Koonce’s Wilmington Quakers came up short Tuesday, March 10, with a 6-4 loss to the Centre Colonels in NCAA Division III baseball action.
The matchup, held at Gary Wright Field at Fishman Park, marked the teams’ first meeting this season.
Wilmington is set to play next on Wednesday, March 11, at 3 p.m. against the Franklin Grizzlies at Tewksbury-Delaney Field.
