Peyton Gerdes, a former standout at Grayslake North High School and now a member of the High Point Panthers basketball team, is set to play in the NCAA Tournament.
High Point enters as the No. 15 seed and will face the No. 2 seed Vanderbilt Commodores in the opening round.
The tournament debut takes place Saturday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium.
