Several government bodies serving Highland Park announced on April 22 that they will hold a series of neighborhood meetings in 2026. The purpose of these meetings is to give residents an opportunity to discuss community priorities, interact with staff and elected officials, and provide input and feedback.
The participating organizations include the City of Highland Park, North Shore School District 112, Township High School District 113, the Park District of Highland Park, Highland Park Public Library, Moraine Township, Lake County, as well as other governmental entities that serve the area.
The scheduled meetings are set for April 29 at Heller Nature Center at 3 p.m., May 13 at the Highland Park Senior Center at 3 p.m., and June 8 at Edgewood Middle School at 7 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend any of these sessions to share their perspectives directly with local leaders.
These annual gatherings aim to strengthen communication between residents and their government representatives by offering a forum for open dialogue. Community members can expect opportunities to ask questions about ongoing projects or raise concerns relevant to their neighborhoods.
Organizers have invited all interested residents to sign up if they wish to participate in one or more of the upcoming meetings.
