The Highland Park Police Department announced on April 3 that it will host its annual Rock & Dodge dodgeball tournament for middle and high school students on April 10 at Park Fitness. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The tournament offers local youth an opportunity to participate in a team sport organized by the police department, in partnership with the City of Highland Park and the Park District of Highland Park. Organizers say the event aims to engage students in a positive recreational activity.

Students who wish to participate must register individually before the event. Parents are required to acknowledge a waiver as part of their child’s registration process. Upon arrival at the Recreation Center, participants will be asked for their team name during check-in, and each team can include up to six members.

Registration is free for all participants. If attendees have difficulty locating the Rock & Dodge Dodgeball Tournament during sign-up, they are advised to search using Activity Code: 2111012.

The event continues an ongoing effort by local agencies to provide safe and structured activities for area youth.
