Kindergarten registration is now open for children entering Laura B. Sprague School in the Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103 for the fall 2026 school year. Children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2026, to be eligible. The district asks families not to register current Sprague early childhood students for kindergarten until the spring.

The district offers both half-day and full-day kindergarten programs. Full-day kindergarten costs $3,500 if a $500 deposit is paid by April 10; after that date, tuition rises to $3,850. Tuition payments are due in two installments on August 1 and December 1, 2026. Half-day kindergarten is available for $100 per year.

Registration begins with the completion of the district’s 2026-2027 Intake Form. After submitting this form, families will receive access to the PowerSchool enrollment system.

Parents or guardians must provide several documents during online registration: a copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport (hospital certificates are not accepted), a parent or guardian’s government-issued photo ID, and proof of residency within District 103 boundaries. Proof of residency requires one document such as a real estate tax bill or lease agreement and two additional documents like vehicle registration or recent utility bills showing a District 103 address.

State-mandated forms for medical, vision, and dental examinations are also required for entry into kindergarten.

Documents can be mailed, faxed, or dropped off at Laura B. Sprague School at 2425 Riverwoods Road in Lincolnshire. For questions or more information, families may contact the Sprague School office at 847-945-6665 or rjhangiani@d103.org.
