Illinois Road, Lake Forest, in a special 25th Anniversary Celebration Concert honoring the nonprofit’s decades of supporting women with cancer since its founding in 1998 by Beverly McCray, featuring an all-star lineup including Ivy Ford, soulful vocalist Mauree, beloved Lake County R&B artist Lonne Givens in a powerful homecoming performance, and the G&G Records Orchestra, with ticket options priced at $60 VIP, $45 Premiere, and $35 Standard, VIP admission including an exclusive post-show meet and greet, and proceeds benefiting the foundation’s mission to provide resources, encouragement, and hope to individuals and families facing cancer diagnoses.
Noises Off
The Lake Forest College Theater Department presents Noises Off, a non-stop farce by Michael Frayn directed by Professor Bob Knuth, at Hixon Theater on the South Campus of Lake Forest College, running March 26–28 and April 2–4, 2026, with evening performances Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Saturday matinees at 2 p.m., for a total of eight performances with limited seating of only 40 patrons per show; this iconic backstage comedy takes audiences behind the scenes of a struggling theater troupe as egos clash, cues are missed, and chaos escalates both onstage and off, delivering rapid-fire humor and escalating mishaps; tickets are free for Lake Forest College students, faculty, and staff with ID, $20 general admission, and $5 for non-affiliated students, and questions may be directed to Bob Knuth at bknuth@lakeforest.edu.
