Celebrate Earth is a vibrant, all-ages Earth Day event that brings the community together at the LFOLA Conservation Campus on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m.-Noon, inviting everyone to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature through engaging, hands-on activities such as wetland exploration, birding, guided hikes, and practical restoration learning, while also enjoying a special reading by local children’s author Melanie Uteg from her “Dung and Bo” series and gaining valuable insights from Stephanie Foerster of the Green Gardening Group on native plant initiatives, with live music from the award-winning Lovell VA House Band, Broken Pieces, adding energy to the celebration, making this free event a meaningful opportunity to connect with nature, support local talent, and inspire environmental stewardship for all.
