Forester Day, the annual fundraising event at Lake Forest College, raised over $795,893 from more than 2,182 donors this year. The funds will support a range of campus initiatives including the Forester Fund, scholarships, the college’s endowment, student leadership programs, and career preparation.

The event took place on Thursday, February 26. Activities included trivia for students, the Fourth Annual Telethon, a Forester Flair Contest, and celebrations both on campus and in cities such as Chicago, Minneapolis, and Seattle. Organizers reported participation from across the country with donations coming in from 47 states.

According to organizers, “We received gifts from 47 states.” They also noted that “The Class of 2025 had the most alumni make a gift,” while “The Forester Fund, the Spike Initiative, and Forester Football led the leaderboard in gifts.” In addition, “Parents of the Class of 2027 won our current parent giving challenge” and “One in four students made a gift on Forester Day.”

A statement from event organizers expressed appreciation: “Thank you to everyone who called in to the Telethon, attended our celebrations, and took the time to give back to the College. Every gift makes a difference in our students’ lives.”

Next year’s Forester Day is scheduled for Thursday, February 25.
