The Village of Lake Zurich announced on March 13 that its leaf vacuum service, scheduled for the week of March 16, will be postponed because of unfavorable weather conditions.

The delay affects residents who were expecting the seasonal leaf collection. The village said the decision was made in response to weather that is not suitable for operating the leaf vacuum equipment.

“Weather for the week of March 16th is not playing along with leaf vac service. We are therefore postponing for a week or so. Watch this page and our social media channels for updates,” the announcement said.

No new date has been set yet for when the service will resume. Residents are encouraged to monitor official communication channels for further information.

The village will provide updates as soon as possible regarding rescheduling and any changes to future services.
