Lake Forest Community High School D115 announced its annual Tri-District Board Mixer, bringing together students, parents, and members of the Lake Forest Community High School D115 and District 67 Boards of Education.


The event aims to foster open dialogue and strengthen partnerships within the school community. According to the announcement by Lake Forest High School, “Students, families, and board members gathered to listen, engage in conversation, and hear directly from students, creating an opportunity for open dialogue, shared perspectives, and strengthened partnership across the school community.”


Lake Forest Community High School District 115 serves approximately 1,500 students from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood in grades 9–12. The district offers a range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, career pathways, and community service opportunities. Its curriculum includes advanced placement courses, specialized electives, and access to athletics, performing arts, and various clubs. Feeder schools include Deer Path Middle School, Lake Bluff Middle School, and several private and parochial schools in the area according to Lake Forest Schools.


Lake Forest High School was established in 1935 as a public secondary school serving grades 9–12. Approximately 95% of its students pursue higher education. The school emphasizes personalized instruction within a collaborative environment that values mutual respect and high expectations. It serves the communities of Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood with the motto “Pursuits become habits” according to Lake Forest Schools.


Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 serves about 1,600 students in grades Pre-K through eight across three elementary schools—Cherokee Elementary (K-4), Everett Elementary (K-4), Sheridan Elementary (Pre-K-4)—and Deer Path Middle School (5-8). The district is known for innovative instructional practices emphasizing inclusive education and personalized learning experiences that support academic as well as social-emotional development. Its mission is “to inspire and empower students to maximize growth and cultivate respect for others in a dynamic, safe learning environment” according to Lake Forest Schools.
