The Lindenhurst Police Department is set to host its inaugural National Night Out event on August 5th. The gathering will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Slove Park, located at 2301 E. Sand Lake Road.

National Night Out aims to enhance community relationships and foster partnerships between residents and law enforcement. Attendees can expect family-friendly activities, local food options, and opportunities to engage with officers and fellow community members.

The department encourages everyone to join the event and collect some LPD merchandise during the evening.
