The Village of Lindenhurst is inviting residents to participate in a new initiative aimed at capturing personal stories and experiences as part of two significant anniversaries: the 70th anniversary of the village’s incorporation and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

As an Illinois America 250 Community, Lindenhurst is seeking input from community members through its Resident Profile Questionnaire. The effort aims to collect memories, experiences, and perspectives that highlight what makes Lindenhurst unique.

“Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to town, young or young-at-heart, we want to hear from you! Your responses to a brief questionnaire may be featured in future Village publications as part of this once-in-a-generation celebration.”

Residents can participate by completing an online questionnaire available on the Village website at www.lindenhurstil.org/residentprofile or by picking up a profile form at Village Hall.

“Help us preserve Lindenhurst’s history—one story at a time.”
