On Friday, Feb. 27, the McKendree Bearcats, which feature former Carmel Catholic High School players Adam Galdoni and Derek Galdoni, earned a 14-7 win over the Upper Iowa Peacocks in NCAA Division II baseball play.
Hypes Field hosted this first meeting of the season between the Bearcats and Peacocks.
The Bearcats are set to face Upper Iowa again on Saturday, Feb. 28 with a game scheduled for 11 a.m. at Hypes Field.
