On Friday, March 6, former Lake Zurich High School standout Molly Friesen played for the Washington Bears, who earned a 65-53 victory over the Geneseo Knights in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The game started at 4:45 p.m. at Branch Rickey Arena and marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
Washington Bears are scheduled to play again on Saturday, March 7 at 7:15 p.m. at Branch Rickey Arena.
