North Chicago Community High School students recently had the opportunity to visit AbbVie headquarters, where they explored careers in finance. Although AbbVie is known for its work in science and medicine, this visit introduced students to the financial side of the company.

The event was part of North Chicago School District 187’s ongoing efforts to prepare students for college and future careers by providing exposure to various professional fields. The district expressed appreciation for AbbVie’s mentorship and investment in student development.

“We are incredibly grateful for AbbVie’s continued mentorship and investment in our students’ futures,” stated a representative from the district.

A special acknowledgment was given to Mr. Hollenstein and the D187 Career & College Readiness team for organizing the trip.
