The City of Highwood has announced the commencement of construction on a new residential development at the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Burtis Avenue. This privately initiated project will introduce five new townhomes to the community, enhancing the city’s variety of housing options.
According to city officials, “As a by-right development, the project complies fully with all applicable zoning codes and has proceeded through the standard permitting process.” A rendering of the townhomes is available to offer a glimpse into their design and architectural style.
