GENERAL INFORMATION:

A travel opportunity to New York has been organized for June 2026, featuring tours of Radio City Music Hall and the sets of “Friends” or “Seinfeld,” as well as several Broadway shows. An informational meeting about the trip will be held in the Commons on Wednesday, May 14th at 6 pm. Interested individuals can contact Mr. Greer or visit room 224E for more information.

CLUBS:

The speech team is recruiting future sophomores, juniors, and seniors for the 2025-2026 season. The IHSA competitive speech program focuses on various public speaking skills through prepared original or scripted pieces developed with feedback from coaches and judges. The program also includes events in acting, scriptwriting, poetry and prose interpretation, radio speaking, political arguments, and more. An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 3:15 pm in room 224E. Interested students can contact Mr. Greer with any questions.

No Gearheads club meeting this evening.

SPORTS:

Boys interested in playing for UT Soccer next season are invited to an informational meeting tomorrow, May 6th at3:10 pm in the UT Commons. . Coach Mooch will discuss the summer training schedule, practice times, and preseason activities available for players.

Last Saturday, Special Olympics athletes competed in regional track and field events in Monmouth IL Izzy Hollie-Gomez and Jacob Nolan both received first place In the100m run they will advance to state competition In June at Illinois State University Congratulations
