The district also outlined several parent and community events, including a Family Movie Night at Alexander School on March 10 and a virtual workshop in Spanish titled “YOU – Your Child’s First Teacher” on March 11. A mental health presentation is scheduled as part of the AJK PAC Meeting at A.J. Katzenmaier on March 12. Additional PAC meeting workshops are planned for March 16 and March 23 at Alexander School.

For students, activities include Class of 2026 picture retakes at North Chicago Community High School (NCCHS) on March 3, Winter Sports Recognition in the NCCHS Auditorium on March 4, and a “Pack the Gym” event at A.J. Early dismissal or early release days are set for every Wednesday throughout the month; dismissal times typically range from about 1:35 PM to 1:45 PM depending on the school. Regular after-school tutoring and cheerleading practices continue this month at A.J. Katzenmaier Academy.
