Palombi Middle School celebrates student achievements in athletics and arts

Palombi Middle School, part of Lake Villa Community Consolidated School District 41, is recognizing a successful season for its students in both athletics and the performing arts.

The district, which serves Lake County and includes B.J. Hooper Elementary School, Olive C. Martin School, Peter J. Palombi School, and William L. According to data from the Illinois State Board of Education, the district employs 157 teachers with an average salary of $60,885 before pension contributions. The teaching staff is predominantly female (92.4 percent), with men making up 7.6 percent of teachers.
