On Friday, March 13, at 2 p.m., the Quincy Hawks, featuring former Highland Park High School player Matt Miscik, secured a 13-5 victory over the Missouri S&T Miners in their NCAA Division II baseball game.

The matchup was held at Ballpark at S&T. This marked their first meeting with the Miners this season.

Miscik pitched three innings, allowing two earned runs, with two walks and four strikeouts.
