Organizers announced on Mar. 24 that registration is now open for the 5th Annual Land We Love Run, which will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Participants can register as individuals or as part of a team to compete in the event’s three categories: a 5K run, a 10K run, or a two-mile walk.
The event’s proceeds will go to Folds of Honor, an organization that provides scholarships to families of fallen and disabled service members. Organizers say the run is also an opportunity for the community to join together in celebrating America’s upcoming semiquincentennial—America 250—with their team.
This annual event has become a way for local residents and supporters to contribute toward educational opportunities while participating in healthy outdoor activities. The choice between running or walking makes it accessible for people with varying fitness levels.
As preparations continue ahead of June’s race day, organizers encourage early sign-ups to ensure participation and support for Folds of Honor. More information about registration and participation options is available through the event’s official channels.
