State Representative Tom Weber responded to the Governor’s 2026 State of the State Address by urging for more action on public safety issues. Weber has consistently criticized the SAFE-T Act and has introduced several proposals aimed at reforming public safety policies.

Weber, a Republican, began serving in the Illinois State House in 2019 after being elected to represent the 64th District, succeeding Barbara Wheeler.
