Rhode Island shuts out New Haven 22-0 with strong showing from Ryan Henschel

On Tuesday, March 10, the Rhode Island Rams, featuring former Glenbrook North High School standout Ryan Henschel, defeated the New Haven Chargers 22-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game that started at 3 p.m.

The matchup, which took place at Bill Beck Field, marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Henschel went 2-for-2, scoring twice, driving in four runs and drawing a walk.

The Rams are set to play again at 3 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park against the George Washington Colonials.
