The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove announced on March 23 that it is accepting nominations for the 2025 Bill Reid Award, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

The award aims to recognize those whose long-term efforts have improved and enhanced the spirit of Buffalo Grove. Community members are encouraged to nominate individuals who have demonstrated dedication and positive impact within the village.

Recipients of the Bill Reid Award will be honored at a public ceremony. In addition, their names will be permanently displayed on a recognition plaque in the lobby of Village Hall. The award also includes two $250 charitable contributions: one made in the recipient’s name to a charity of their choice, and another to The Rotary Foundation.

Nominations must be submitted by April 13. Further information about eligibility criteria and how to submit a nomination can be found on the official nomination webpage.

The Rotary Club’s annual recognition highlights ongoing efforts by residents and volunteers who help shape Buffalo Grove’s community spirit.
